ADAM MALERMAN, Chief executive officer
Adam Malerman's experience in production spans more than two decades, serving as Crew Chief of the Philadelphia Folk Festival for more than 20 years. In his 14 years as Crew Chief for large holiday décor installations, he has coordinated the set-up and rigging in large shopping malls from Boston to New Orleans.
Adam has extensive experience with installation of counterweight fly systems, truss & chain motor set-ups, lighting systems, sound systems, audio and video systems, job origination and preparation, installing trusses, video screens, projectors, pipe and drape, computer networks, and the list goes on.
Adam has built a reputation as an experienced professional with a wide range of knowledge and an eye for detail, earning him the respect of his crew and his clients.
Matthew Chesser, Esq., Chief Financial Officer
Matt Chesser has 23 years of experience centered on project management and fiscal accountability in local, state, and private organizations. In 1988, Matt began work as a city engineering assistant in Salisbury, Maryland, responsible for the design and construction of major roadway projects. He was vital in accurate cost estimates and budget requests, contracts and requisitions. In 1998, he was hired as a law clerk with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In December 2000, he was inducted in the Delaware Bar (ID# 3935) and admitted to the United States District Court (Delaware) the following year. Since 2000, he has worked as a deputy attorney general and an environmental program administrator. Matt's educational background includes A.A.S. in Civil Engineering Technology (Delaware Technical and Community College, 1997), B.S. in Environmental Health (Salisbury State University, 1997), and Juris Doctor (Villanova Law School, 2000) with a concentration in environmental law studies.
NECIA BECK, Director of Client Services
Necia Beck has 25 years of experience in management and client services. She has the skills and organization necessary to make any production job proceed smoothly, saving time and money for both the client and the production company. She has been responsible for project management in several different industries from financial to energy to professional services, and has worked for non-profits as well as corporations with multi-million dollar budgets. Additionally, she has more than 30 years experience in communications, working with diverse groups via diverse media.
Necia’s clients describe her as having an uncanny ability to plan, organize and execute any project in the most efficient manner possible, and her communications skills enable her to understand and convey her clients’ desires clearly and succinctly. She also operates her own management and communications firm.
Jeremy Birnbaum, director of Multimedia
Jeremy Birnbaum has more than 30 years experience in the audio-video installation field. Jeremy worked for Temple University’s Office of Television Services and as a subcontractor to Event Masters, Audio General and other local sound and video companies before establishing Studiotek. Studiotek began as the repair service for Ruffhouse Records in the early 1990s and currently provides repair service for several recording studios.
Jeremy specializes in corporate installations and counts Delaware State Parks and numerous schools and churches in the Philadelphia area as his clients. Examples of his work include the installation of an auditorium lighting, sound and video projection and screen package; audio-visual equipment repair; sound system installation and sound support for live performances.
LEE JENNINGS, Founder
Lee began his career in live production as sound designer and audio technician for the 1978 US tour of Jesus Christ Super Star. After several years of Broadway tours, Lee had built acquired the skills and experience to launch his career as a top-notch production manager.
His clients include Blood, Sweat, and Tears (10 years), Ornette Colman (10 years), Phillip Morris International Jazz Tours (15 years), Philadelphia Freedom Festival, Rockwood Ice Cream Festival, $90 million Phillip Morris Bill of Rights Tour, and the Philadelphia Folk Festival for 28 years.
Since his start in 1978, Lee took on the toughest assignments and built an international reputation as a creative problem solver and a developer of great production teams.
In 2009, Lee was awarded the State of Delaware’s Governor’s Tourism Award for Lifetime Achievement for the magnificent work he accomplished at Fort Delaware State Park and Fort Miles Historical Area.
