King of Prussia Mall (King of Prussia, Pennsylvania)
When Exhibit Masters won the holiday décor installation contract for King of Prussia Mall in July 2008, we made arrangements to receive the huge set from the previous installers where they had been held in storage.
When the trailers arrived much of the décor was damaged, and almost everything was dusty, moldy or mildewed. Exhibit Masters undertook a massive refurbishment repairing reindeer, restringing wreaths and trees with more than 80,000 LED lights (saving thousands of dollars in energy costs) and generally cleaning up, consolidating and refurbishing the existing décor.
Management was pleased with the new look of the décor and based on Exhibit Masters’ work, embarked upon a long-term plan to update and improve the holiday set.
Oxford Valley Mall (Langhorne, Pennsylvania)
The Oxford Valley Mall's holiday display is simple and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, bringing the holiday to every shopper, without over doing the experience or cost. The holiday set is maintained annually to ensure longevity which will enable the client to save costs in the long run.
Montgomery Mall (North Wales, Pennsylvania)
Exhibit Masters Productions refurbished an old holiday set for Montgomery Mall in North Wales, PA. The holiday set was repainted, relight and given a new life. This project is the ultimate recycling job at a cost that was right for the customer. Refurbished sets are more environmentally friendly and affordable. Exhibit Masters has a goal of meeting customer needs and doing it right the first time.
The Rockwood Ice Cream Festival (Wilmington, Delaware)
Rockwood is a mid nineteenth century manor built in a unique English style by a wealthy Wilmington merchant. New Castle County government undertook a massive restoration project in 1997. The Ice Cream festival was a fund raising event run by a volunteer group in the years prior to the restoration. Exhibit Masters was retained to produce a much more complex event. The three-day festival historically drew less than 5,000 participants. The redesigned festival included national touring acts, a performance of the 1812 Overture with cannon fire, living history, crafts, food and fireworks. In two years the audience increased to more than 70,000. A remarkable diverse offering of music and creative choice in children’s entertainment were the main ingredients of a winning formula. The event won a number of awards and was very popular over its ten-year span.
Tysons Corner Center (Mclean, Virginia)
A few years ago, during the 2008 holiday season, our long-time client was facing a crisis. The new Marketing Director had a clear vision of a traditional theme for the holiday décor. The problem: the mall’s décor was decidedly un-traditional. Financing for a new set was a year away but the current set was not popular. Enter the creative design team at Exhibit Masters:
Our design team was able to adapt much of the existing décor, with few additions and completely rework it to reflect the client’s desire for a traditional theme at a fraction of the cost that replacement would cost.
Exhibit Masters consulted with the client to produce a plan that fulfilled the vision. We were able to set up the new Santa set in one night. Unfortunately, the anchor store nearest the Santa Land was dissatisfied with the location and insisted that the set be moved. In one more night, we were able to completely relocate the set and adapt it to an entirely different space. We met with yet another complication. The spot that the client had chosen was slated for elevator repairs and we had to move the set to provide access to the elevators.
We moved the set and returned yet another night to reset it after the elevator work was done. Our efficient operation and professional crew was able to accomplish the entire redesign of the set and the relocation of it, twice, in nearly the same time allotted to the original installation, and at significant savings to the client. When the new set was finalized, the public positive comments began almost immediately.
